Even if the municipal museum in Vysoké Mýto doesn´t have a biology department and biology collections, they are interested in our observations along the bike path between Vysoké Mýto and Choceň and they are helping us to disseminate the project outcomes. We have been watching the biodiversity along the bike path for 3 yeras now and it is amazing how many observetions we have and how many species there are. Here you can see our final outcome.
On Thursday 27/6/2019 a group of students from Gymnázium Vysoké Mýto went to the town of Luže and held hold a Park Nature Challenge BIOBLITZ in Hamza´s Park and Arboretum.
The project aims at promoting the use of technologies to increase the interest of pupils in nature while giving them the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and develop new skills.
We want to promote responsible environmental awareness, increase the understanding of the natural sciences and lead to more positive attitudes towards them, to create tools for linking new technologies to nature and its study and to collect a large amount of data on the occurrence of plants and animals in different locations.
